Republican dinosaurs.

Republicans are like a time machine that transports the past into the present. No matter how far forward we move in time, the Republicans will lasso the past and drag it into the present. They're the political version of Land of the Lost. America is now in the process of reliving the 1930s depression years. Why? Because Republicans decided that the American financial system should be returned to those glorious 1920's days of no regulation and no oversight. Crash! Bam! Boom! Eighty years later we're doing it all again.

The word for it is "insanity" folks. Earlier, in the week, when the U.S. Senate was debating the stimulus package, John McCain (no stranger to fossils) stood up in front of the senate and started blubbering about how the stimulus package will cost more than the Louisiana Purchase of 1803. Here we are in code-red economic meltdown mode in 2009, and jurassic McCain can't come up with anything better than to utter nonsensical comparisons to something that happened 206 years ago.

Are you kidding me? When will we finally say "enough of this crap."
