Okay Texan, will someone please help me understand what seasonally adjusted mean and why is it allowed to reflect a decrease in the actual unemployment rate. I found this on this web site; http://www.tracer2.com/.

From what I can see Texas Actual Unemployment rate for June 8.5 and July 8.5 but, with the seasonal adjustment it shows June 8.2 and July 8.2. How do this work????

Please check out this web site it is very interesting.
I'm still having difficulties finding a new job. Unfortunately, I will run out of my tier 3 unemployment benefits in about 3 weeks. Will I be qualified to extend my benefits using EB? Please let me know at henry5522@gmail.com. Thanks.

@Ally

I totally understand your frustration, it very sad that the system is really set up to be a hinder instead of a help. I wish did have some answer but, it seems that they calculated base on your initial claim (which is what your company actually submitted as wages earn for that year).

From there they determine your weekly payment and once that runs out (even if it before 26 weeks), you become eligible for the addiontional tiers. Which mean that your money might run out before the 93 weeks that Texas allows, I hope this help...
